2024 bullet journal setup 📔

HELLO friends! I hope you all are doing great and spent amazing holidays with your loved ones! Today’s post is quite special for me because it is my 2024 bullet journal setup for 2024 (general setup for the entire year) if you know, I have been journaling for 7 years now, however, bullet journaling was something I gave up in 2021 due to stress and some other personal reasons, so this come back feels so good! I may be back to my journal YouTube as well at one point this year! If you are curious about what I do there, please do visit and see if you like something! 🌸

This year I wanted to focus on retro-looking gothic letters for a cohesive look. I usually choose my monthly themes with colours and stickers, however, the general setup should be something I would not be bored entire year, so I kept everything safe and made most likely my favourite spreads of all years I have done a bujo setup!

For some explanation, I usually keep my yearly part basic, I did not do as many spreads in the past as well. However, this year I wanted to set up a few things that would actually save me from getting additional books or notepads to note things I wanted to track.

Instead of making a new journal for books and blog posts like last year, I simply took a few pages from my bullet journal to use as the tracker for my reading and planning my blog posts. I had a separate mini notebook for that job, but considering that I am unable to have a commitment to more than 3 notebooks made it really hard to keep everything on track, so here we are.

I also made a savings and period tracker for myself. This year, I want to visit 2 countries with my husband and best friend, so saving up would be an amazing help, not only this; but it would help me visualize how much I can spend monthly and still save up some money for travelling. I also need a new pair of skates because I now do jumps and my poor skates are getting ripped from the heel, so to not risk my health, I will save up some for good artistic pair like Edea or Risport as well. Period tracker on the other hand is self-explanatory I assume, it will help my appointments and overall health monitoring.

The fitness tracker idea is more of a general one like the others, I will have my beginning weight, how many days have committed and so on. However, just like for my savings tracker (I have a monthly budget tracker) I have a separate monthly spread for fitness/gym. I write down everything I did for that month and eventually enter the data on my yearly spread at the end of the month. My goal is to not get slimmer but stronger for the jumps and longer swimming periods. We will see how that goes too.

Idea Dump is just fun for me. I will note down things here and there, it will have ideas that I want to do on my blog, YouTube or Instagram. Overall, it is just a fun spread and it looks incredibly cute.

As the last spread, I made myself a bucket list, all my goals, things I want to do, and places I want to visit will go there as I accomplish these goals. It turned out to be very cute as well.

As for the items I have used, most of my stickers and washi tapes are from Aliexpress, it has been years since I bought from there because it is cheaper, good quality and I always find something I like there. The gothic font I used on my titles, on the other hand, is from a ruler with letters, so it was really easy to sketch the letters in the initial planning and finalize it with some inking. Overall, it turned out a nice theme which will not bore me throughout the year! It is fairly crowded however it somehow manages to look clean as well, maybe it is the colours.

Do you use bullet journals? If so, let me see what is your creation for 2024 as well! I hope you liked this post friends, until my next post; take care. ✨❤️
