Hello friends! ⭐ January passed by quickly and here we are with the first wrap-up post of 2024! Woohoo! 🥳Although I only started reading on January 18th, I have finished 4 books and am very proud that I broke that reading slump after months! I loved every book I read (you know I rarely do not obsess over books) and let me walk you through what I read this month.

#1 It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
It Ends With Us was an emotional roller coaster in a great way. I am new to these kinds of books and I must say that I am enjoying them so far. The characters were decent, the writing was good and I immediately had the urge to start the second book to get some closure. The review is already up on my blog, click here! 🌸
#2 It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover
I have seen various reviews on this book, some people hated it, some liked it and I am on the liking side. I do not care that this was written for whatever reason, I was just so happy to read more about Atlas Corrigan and I liked it more than the first book besides one change in one of the characters.

#3 Corrupt By Penelope Douglas
If I encounter even the 3% of the things that happen in this book, I would call the police. I am saying nothing else. But this is the thing with dark romance, you never need to relate and just read. I quite enjoyed it considering the list of trigger warnings it had and yes, it makes me question my sanity for sure but give it a try if you really like dark, steamy and kind of terrifying romance books.
#4 Owned by a Sinner by Michelle Heard
The last book of January was Owned by a Sinner, the second book of famous mafia romance series. Just like the first one, the second book was a quick and standard read for me. The potential was very high but whether it is the language or the character’s it was just a meh book, nevertheless, I enjoyed it for the romance aspect. 🥵

Basically, this is all friends! I am still proud that I managed to get back on track the first month, hope to continue as strong in the upcoming months. How was your January? Let me know what you have read and what you will suggest for future too! See you in my next post! ✨📖
