Hello friends! Welcome to another post. 🌸 Today I will talk you through the books I got at the beginning of October. I couldn’t stop myself when I saw yet another sale on Amazon. I did my best not to overpay and get those I intend to read in November, so here they are! The good news is that I read almost everything from my previous book haul, so I am ready to justify my actions by knowing that I did what I wanted to achieve. 🥲
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
I already finished the series but I wanted the trophy. I love The Folk of the Air so much that I just want to have the books for whenever I want to read a few pages again and again in the future. So when I saw that this was on sale… I just bought it immediately!

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
After reading November 9, I just wanted to read more books from Colleen Hoover. I feel like I have to. I am not sure if I will have the same feelings or not, but here we are with one of her most popular books!
House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas
I am too late for this book but the AMOUNT OF PAGES and the bulkiness of this book scares the shit out of me although I am dying to know what will happen the next. 🥹
The Perfect Mother by Aimee Molloy
Another book that I have already finished and wrote the review for! It was a nice thriller after not reading a single page of that genre for years. 👁️
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Again, this is another book that I am late to read but these kinds of books are rarely my type, I am sorry. However; after hearing from my best friend about HOW MAGNIFICENT this book is and why THE HELL I haven’t finished it yet, I felt like I had to??
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare
Soon, you may see me in a marathon of Shadow Hunters books. I’ve been one of the OG fans of the series and I do not exactly remember what made me stop reading the SH universe books but all of my favourite bloggers love the world more and more with each passing day. I may focus on Shadow Hunters during November, December and most likely January 2024!
The Calculating Stars by Mary Robinette Kowal
The main reason for this book in this haul was its rewards. Check the GoodReads for heaven’s sake, it has received every possible reward there for modern literature. I expect it to be ground-shaking and no less.
