Hello friends! 🌸 I hope you all are doing great. After almost a year, I wanted to give you a book haul. Unfortunately, I do not get as many physical copies anymore, mainly because I hate reading translations and the original language copies are fairly expensive, however, I’ve been putting some money on the side and gift myself a few books here and there. I have some best-sellers and a few books that I got curious about while looking through Amazon. If you are ready, let’s see what I got over the past few months! ✨

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
This book has been taking BookTok and Bookstagram over and it has dragons in it, I had to get it. I asked this from a friend since it was unavailable on Amazon and she brought it from Scotland, it surely was slightly salty but it is worth it because look at this cover, this glory, I do not remember the last time I liked the outside of a book this much! Cannot wait to read it hehe. 🥲💕

Echoes of Scotland Street by Samantha Young
If you know me a little, you know that Samantha Young and Dublin Street series is one of my favourite romance series and I read these books slightly irregularly, I do not follow the publication dates but read whichever speaks to me most. After reading Moonlight on Nightingale Way, I was madly captivated by Shannon and wanted to get her book as well. I am very much excited for this one!

The Hundredth Queen by Emily R. King
This appeared on my Amazon page a lot and when I saw it on sale, I had to get it and give it a chance. From what I’ve seen on GoodReads, the book must be an “OK” one for me but I am still excited to read it and if I enjoy it, I will surely get the rest of the series (turns out there are four books int he series).

The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke
Another recommended book from Amazon, I do not have high hopes of this and I mainly got it because it reminded me of the OG dystopian/fantasy YA I used to read when I was in high school and weird enough, although I am almost 28, I still enjoy well-written YA books. Also, the author is well known for many books so I thought I’d give it a chance.

The Raven Tower by Ann Leckie
I have high hopes for this one. It has a kingdom, there is magic, there is sacrifice and I can only imagine how cool this book will turn out to be. They mentioned on Goodreads that it reminded people of Hamlet in many ways and if the language is good, I know that I will fall in love with this one.

Selection from Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton
I knew I had made a mistake by starting the series from god knows which book and reading a translation. I do not know what it is but Turkish translations of fantasy/erotica books are horrible and I felt disgusted with the word choices made by the translator of these books. I only read Flirt and at the end of that VERY, VERY short book I’ve decided to not read them in Turkish at all, also starting from the first book. I still wanted to include these because it was a good deal nevertheless.

The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
The next book from the haul is this beauty. I am happy to say that I have already finished it and currently writing its review and oh my god I am such an idiot for not reading this before. I am in love with it. I am in love with its characters, with its story, with the fact that how wholesome and kind this book was! It was a pleasure to read it and I cannot wait to see more books from Ali Hazelwood!

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
I guess I got this book because I was in love with The Love Hypothesis, I heard a lot about it and everything I’ve heard about it tells me that I will love this book. I am very excited about it!

November 9 by Colleen Hoover
I have never read a book from Colleen Hoover. There, I said it. I know that she has been a huge part of the romance genre for years and recently she has been involved in some drama, and from the things I’ve seen on Twitter I’m like: “MEH”. I wonder what all this craziness is about this author. I will read it soon and write a review!

Crave by Tracy Wolf
Vampires, academy setting, romance in the YA genre? Sounds like my jam completely! I haven’t read anything about it yet, but I am excited to see what it will offer. The vibes are surely 2010s and I am not even sad about it. It is a big girl and I plan to read it next month!

Wilder Girls by Rory Power
The last book from my haul is Wilder Girls by Rory Power. I do not remember reading YA horror ever, even if I did, I probably did not like it even a bit and I do not remember anything from it. From the cover to the synopsis, I like everything about this book and although the Goodreads rate is not that high, I still have high hopes for this one.
Overall, I have put myself on a book-buying ban until I finish everything from this haul (besides the Laurell K. Hamilton ones) and only then I will accept more books and my Amazon wishlist is getting thicker and thicker with each passing day. But this was the end of the haul friends! Let me know if you have read any of these books! 💕🌸
